The weather fully cooperated on Saturday, July 27 for House Music Day as part of the Lincoln Park Music Festival. Vendors set up shop as people of all ages set up chairs, blankets and tents for a ten-hour celebration of classic Jersey house. DJs like Hippie Torrales and genre superstars like Crystal Waters took the rapturous crowd back to the glory days of Newark’s Club Zanzibar, which was being recognized for its 45th anniversary. The dance floor near the stage was an endless dizzying spectacle of Brick City residents showing off their finest moves. It was a hot time in more ways than one.
