Founded in 2020, The Newarker is a quarterly journal of history, culture and society in Newark, New Jersey, and its surrounding areas. Our mission is to create an interdisciplinary space that celebrates the creativity and dynamism of our city. We see this project as collaborative, of the people and for the people.
