For years, Newark based DJ and producer Uniiqu3 has drawn national attention to Jersey Club music with regular features in major music publications such a Vice, Billboard, DJ Mag and Complex. She’s also played some of the biggest music festivals in the country, including Afropunk, Coachella and SXSW. Most recently, she was profiled by PBS in a short documentary on the origins, rise to prominence, and ongoing contributions Jersey Club artists are making to global urban music and dance cultures.

Gin Ginger Remix

3 oz All Points West Cathouse Gin

2 sugar cubes or 2 teaspoons cane sugar

0.75 oz lemon juice

0.5 teaspoon pink peppercorns

2 slices fresh ginger(plus one for garnish)

2 basil leaves

Instructions:

Muddle the sugar, ginger, basil, and pink peppercorns in a glass until the peppercorns are crushed. Add the lemon juice and gin, shake with ice and strain into a coupe glass. Finish by garnishing with slice of ginger.
