This is a follow up on the great article you published on cycling in Newark by Sophie Ziner.  She mentioned some cycling groups in the area but did not mention one wonderful group your readers might want to know about, the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey.  There are “Major Taylors” all over the country, but this is the one for North Jersey (based in Newark).  It’s a friendly club for riders of all levels (i.e. it’s not crazy competitive), and it has organized rides every week and weekend.
