Mixology: brainorchestra

Elizabeth, New Jersey based rapper and producer brainorchrestra is a refreshing throwback to the classic era of East Coast hip-hop dominated by boom bap beats, tight samples and complex lyricism. Consider us fans!

Inspired by legends like Pete Rock and DJ Premier, brainochrestra’s quality is matched by his impressive output, he’s always coming out with new singles, videos and even vinyl releases. We suggest pairing beats like these with a smooth mojito made with All Points West Distillery‘s Black Pepper Vodka:

“Get Some”
“Boom Bap”

Pepper and Mint Mojito
2 oz BONE BLACK BLACK PEPPER VODKA
¾oz mint syrup*
¾oz lime juice
soda water
1 lime wedge
mint

Shake vodka, syrup and lime juice with ice; strain into serving glass onto fresh ice; top off with soda water; add lime wedge as garnish; bruise mint leaves to release oils and add as garnish; serve.

*To make mint simple syrup, boil water and sugar with a ratio of 1:1, stir to combine. Once the sugar has dissolved, turn off the heat and add mint leaves. Let sit for 15 minutes and then remove mint.
